2004 Pinots Rosé

Reviews – The Adelaide Review – Nick Stock 87/100

"The Mornington Peninsula is awash with pinot noir and pinot gris but meunier is rarer. Mantons Creek pinots opens with an attractive, lifted nose of perfumed violet florals and cherry fruit, followed by creamy spiced pear aromas. In the mouth, there are vibrant red fruits, a round soft presence and a good mix of ripe fruit flavour with a savoury, dry finish. It lingers with fresh raspberry, some musky perfume and good balance. One of the season’s best rosé wines."

Winemakers Tasting Notes

A rare blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris. Aromas of cherry, caramel and citrus. Nuts, caramel and spice combine to give a long, round palate.
