There is no better way to spend an afternoon than sampling the Mantons Creek wine collection at our friendly cellar door.

A family run boutique vineyard with an extensive array of European grapes. Our cellar door allows you a generous taste of our wide range of estate grown wines, crafted by multi trophy and gold medal winning winemaker Alex White.

Judy, Ginny & Mike (when he has time) are dedicated to helping visitors unravel the delights and intricacies of our many wines.

The Vines and Wines

The majority of the vines are in excess of ten years old and are grown on a Scott-Henry trellising system. The choice of vines has been made to take particular advantage of the Maritime Cool Climate environment of the Mornington Peninsula. Great attention is paid to the production of the highest possible quality of fruit, as it is our belief that the winemaker can only achieve the best results if he is provided with the best grapes. We boast eight different varietals - Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Tempranillo & Muscat and from these create sparkling wines through to dessert wines.

Vintage usually commences in March and is completed by May. The wines are made at our winery under the direction of winemaker Alex White using a modern Australian approach to the production of the classical European varietals that are grown on the vineyard. Typically the wines provide excellent drinking whilst young as well as rewarding those who have the patience to cellar them for a few years.

Our wines are crafted as companions to fine food as well as to be enjoyed for their own qualities.
